Privacy Statement

Salmat SalesForce Australia Pty Ltd is bound by and accepts the National Privacy Principles in the Commonwealth Privacy Act. It has no exemptions under the Privacy Act.

Salmat SalesForce has a role in administering customer information from its clients. Salmat SalesForce therefore also abides by the Privacy Policies of its clients in relation to that personal information.

Any individual can request information about the way their personal information is handled by Salmat SalesForce.

Information held by Salmat SalesForce

Salmat SalesForce recruits via the web. Information on potential employees is held by Salmat SalesForce. Personal information is kept about employees as a part of their employment. Under its email policy, Salmat SalesForce can access personal information in emails.
Salmat SalesForce also holds information from its clients. This information is also covered by the privacy policy.

Main purpose for which information is held

Employee personal information is held to fulfil employment contracts only. Traineeship information is held as part of Salmat SalesForce’s contractual and statutory obligations to train staff as a Registered Training Organisation. Personal information related to client contracts is held for the purpose of those contracts only.

Management of personal information

Personal information is kept secure either by being kept under lock and key or by security measures within the IT system

Access

Anyone requesting access to their Salmat SalesForce personal information should address their query to the Privacy Officer, Salmat SalesForce Australia Pty Ltd, 33 Lincoln Square South, Carlton. Requests will be acknowledged within 14 days and fulfilled within 30 days. Access to personal information held by Salmat SalesForce’s clients needs to be requested through the client.

Training

Employees of Salmat SalesForce are trained to have knowledge of the National Privacy Principles.
